For over 40 years since Congress has made seat belts mandatory in vehicles, improving vehicle safety and helping to reduce deaths from vehicle accidents. Perhaps, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched another important milestone in safety – Making equipment electronic stability control mandatory on all vehicles, estimating that the universal adoption of this technology by 2011 will save 10,000 lives a year.
The safety equipment helped to protect vehicle occupants for many years, and during the last ten years the emphasis has shifted from passive to active safety systems, including technology to prevent accidents. Stability control is among a group of new auto-safety advancements designed to prevent accidents. This exciting technology on the development of more sophisticated electronics in addition to all vehicles.

Blind Spot and Lane Departure Warning
Several new high-tech systems were designed to protect against side impacts. These systems can alert drivers of other vehicles in their side blind spot in illuminating a warning icon in the mirror each other when its sensors detect a passing car. An alert sound may also be given.
A safety device is connected lane departure warning. If a driver drifts out of his lane, a warning is issued or light illuminates. In general, these systems use cameras that capture an image of the highway that surrounds the floor and the dotted lines on both sides of the car and combine information from sensors to calculate the speed of movement and progress.
