How do you attach beads to the bottom of the braid with a rubber band?

I just got my hair braided yesterday and whose ends are burned. I know that in the past I always had beads on ends after the ends have been burned and then somehow they are held with a rubber band, anyone know how to get them on the braid with an elastic band?

According the braid is over, slipping on the heel. then ensure stretch around the bottom of the braid. you need to wrap the rubberband several times, to ensure that the cord will not slip on the rubber band. Try different size strips of rubber.
